The Bureau of Investigations

The Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division has oversight in investigating criminal activity ranging from illegal narcotics, violent crimes, property and larceny crimes, armed robbery, child abuse, homicides, stolen vehicles, fraud, and more. All within the unincorporated areas of Gadsden County, Florida under the direction of the Criminal Investigations Division supervisor.

Criminal Investigations personnel work round the clock to ensure investigations are handled in a timely manner.
Criminal Investigations personnel coordinate with the Victim Advocate and Patrol Deputies to follow up on investigations and gather information needed for case investigations. The Criminal Investigations Division also coordinates with other agencies for multi-agency investigations.

The Victim Advocate provides the following services: on scene assistance, crisis intervention and counseling, death notifications, grief and bereavement counseling, support throughout the criminal justice system, assistance in filing victims compensation forms, and assistance with domestic violations injunctions.
